YLOA Candidate
My name is Christine Sturkey. I am seeking a position on the YLP board. I am a long-time YLP resident, married, with three children, and four wonderful grandchildren. I also provided a healthy home for several Foster children for thirteen years. I have a deep-rooted commitment to our community and a strong desire to contribute positively to its future.
I have a range of experiences which I believe will be useful in my role as a Homeowner Association Representative/Director. I served as an Inventory Control Specialist/ Federal Officer, with the Department of Justice for over twenty years. I hold a Degree in Paralegal studies, Criminal Profiling, and certifications in Real Estate and Entrepreneurship.
I created a "realistic", job training program within the DOJ/ Department of Education for incarcerated felons which was implemented Nationwide throughout the US Federal and State Prison systems.
My leadership style is grounded on, Integrity, Open Communication, Prioritization and Collaboration. I believe in Total Transparency, and I will have a Open-Door Policy. Every Resident should feel Heard, Valued and Informed. As Director, I realize I am a Volunteer and will Not use that fact to ignore Homeowners.
In 2014, I had the privilege of working with our former General Manager, Layton, to help improve our HOA operations. I have the Knowledge, Education and Experience to succeed and will see to it that YLP management, benefits US in every aspect. I will thoroughly examine the current management company and implement necessary adjustments.
As Your Representative, I will work tirelessly to ensure that Every Homeowner has a voice in the decisions that financially affect our community. Together, we can create a proactive, responsive, and inclusive HOA that prioritizes the well-being of All Residents.
Please cast your vote for me in this crucial election!

YLOA Candidate
Hello, my name is Don Davis. My wife Nancy and I have been homeowners in Yosemite Lakes Park since 2004. I am officially declaring my candidacy for the Homeowners association elections in September.
Moving from Fresno, we were drawn to the beauty and peacefulness of this mountain community and YLP was everything we were looking for. We found privacy, we found friendliness and we found our forever home.
Here in Yosemite Lakes Park we found more than just a place to reside, we found a vibrant community of people who chose to live, work and play together. We found a unique community of people sharing a beautiful park with recreation and restaurants.
I choose to run now because I see our community at a serious crossroads. With our HOA finances in trouble, our beautiful amenities are now on the chopping block.
I won't have it. If elected I will fight to keep all restaurants, the golf course and stables open for the enjoyment of all our residents and visitors who are ready to patronize them.
With EFFORT, we can make these fine facilities be much more self-supporting. I aim to bring back a can-do attitude and make our clubhouse and grounds the first-class restaurant and event center it once was.
I own and operate Don Davis Heating and Air, a local HVAC service business.I have met many of our residents over the years while working for Mountain Aire and now many more through running my own HVAC and Handyman services. I am also known for leading The Executive Rockers, a local rock band.
As a simple, hardworking man I offer myself to our community and ask you to stand with me in preserving our truly unique way of life.
It can be done, but not without effort. Let's Try!

YLOA Candidate
Hi neighbors! I’m Tye Faria, a Yosemite Lake Park resident and candidate in this year’s recall election. With over 20 years of real estate experience, I’ve seen just about everything a community can throw your way. For example, I once had my water pipe burst, sending gallons of water flying by the second definitely not the kind of “water feature” I was hoping for.
Living in the park isn’t just where I live it’s where I’ve chosen to establish roots, build lifelong relationships, and call my home. I believe in trust, transparency, teamwork, and mutual respect. I’m committed to listening to homeowners, not just talking at them. Whether it’s road maintenance, pipe repairs, or figuring out why the ducks and deet act like they pay all of the HOA fees. I’m all ears, available and ready to listen. My email is ylptyef@gmail.com.
I do bring prior experience serving on a Board of Directors and working with homeowners to solve problems, manage budgets, and improve communities. I have foundational knowledge of the Davis-Stirling Act, which governs HOA operations, and I’m eager to learn more to serve the community better.
Most importantly, I believe it’s time to build our Yosemite Lake Park community back—stronger, more united, and more informed. That means taking care of basics, encouraging open communication, and supporting one another as neighbors, not just names on a mailing list.
I also would like to figure out how to financially keep our beloved restaurants, trails, lake area, clubhouse, golf course, and stables open for all residents and visitors. These are key parts of what makes Yosemite Lake Park special place to live.
Thank you for your trust and your vote. I promise to keep it real, keep it respectful, and keep it moving forward.
Sincerely,Tye Faria
